Tejo Keenan

Paralegal & Legal Assistant

Tejo Keenan (she/her) is a Paralegal and Legal Assistant at Immigration Equality.

Prior to joining Immigration Equality, Tejo worked as a paralegal at a workers’ compensation law firm. Tejo worked closely with injured workers, helping them to secure treatment and benefits, and was responsible for the firm’s Portuguese-speaking clients. Previously, Tejo worked in transcription and translation.

Tejo holds a B.A. in Religious Studies from Macalester College. They were raised in Brazil and Mexico, and are fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
