Special Events and Development Manager
Kea Paddy (she/her/hers) is the Special Events and Development Manager at Immigration Equality.
In her role, Kea oversees all of Immigration Equality’s events: Safe Have Awards, SHINE Awards, Liberation- Provincetown, Liberation – Fire Island, corporate partnership events, the Holiday Party, and Associate Board events. She also manages the database and supports the development team in a variety of other tasks.
Kea graduated from Seattle University with a BA in International Studies in 2015. She then spent over two years teaching English abroad – first in South Korea, then Vietnam. After moving to New York in 2018, she has worked in nonprofit development with a focus on Special Events and Peer-to-Peer Fundraising. Outside of her professional work, she is passionate about queer representation in media, travel, theatre, activism, and literature.
