Sydney Adams is an Equity Research Associate at Morgan Stanley on the Consumer Staples desk. She was recently selected to join Morgan Stanley’s Institutional Securities Group rotational program, which offers ISG’s highest performers the opportunity to gain experience across different divisions at the firm. Sydney was named a US Delegate for the 2019-2020 Stanford US-Russia Forum, through which she researched venture capital investing in Russia, and is interested in exploring how business can facilitate international cooperation on social and geopolitical issues. Sydney graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 2018, where she majored in International Relations and Russian Studies. At Penn, Sydney was named to the Dean’s List, the History Honor Society, and the International Relations Honor Society. For her senior thesis, Sydney received the Russian Department Essay Prize and was named Runner-Up for the Palmer Prize for Best Thesis in International Relations. Sydney was born in Geneva, Switzerland and currently lives in New York.
