We are appalled by reports of Texas state troopers pushing children and nursing babies back into the Rio Grande, denying water to asylum seekers in extreme heat, and setting razor wire traps that maim and kill. We urge President Biden to use his authority to demand Governor Abbott immediately remove these death traps. They are cruel, illegal, and immoral.
