Immigration Equality and partners are calling on ICE to release Yani, a lesbian asylum seeker from Cuba who has been unjustly detained at South Louisiana ICE Processing Center for six months.

Yani and her partner Dayana fled homophobic persecution in Cuba, but when they applied for asylum in the U.S., they were sent to detention. Dayana was released, but Yani is still in ICE custody.
