Fraudulent Calls Appearing to be From Immigration Equality

If you received a call from (917) 654-9696, the call you received was fraudulent. Someone has been deliberately falsifying information transmitted to your caller ID and making it appear as if the call is coming from Immigration Equality. We do not make outgoing calls from this number and never ask for financial or other private information from the general public. If someone calls you from what appears to be this number, the call is fake and you should not answer it. Do not give them any information. We have reported this fraudulent activity and are working to resolve the situation.
