Jennifer Colyer

Jennifer joined Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP as Litigation Associate in 1993, then as Special Counsel in 2000. She was a John Ben Snow Scholar at New York Law School where she earned a J.D. magna cum laude in 1992. Prior to joining Fried Frank, she clerked for the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Jennifer administers the firm’s pro bono program and supervises associates handling civil and criminal pro bono litigation matters. She represents at any one time up to 50 immigration clients seeking asylum, VAWA, U-visa and other forms of humanitarian relief, and has worked with Immigration Equality’s Asylum Program since 2009. Jennifer was elected to the Board of Directors shortly after the 2015 Safe Haven Awards.
