Katie Niejadlik is the Senior Manager for pro bono services at the Center for Reproductive Rights, a global legal advocacy organization dedicated to advancing and defending reproductive rights as human rights. Katie oversees the day to day operations of the pro bono team, which engages law firm attorneys in the Center’s work on safe and legal abortion, access to contraception, maternal health, and assisted reproduction. Prior to the Center, Katie led the pro bono program at Fish & Richardson, helping the firm increase its pro bono impact on access to justice for low-income individuals. Outside of work, Katie is a CASA (“Court Appointed Special Advocates”) volunteer, serving as guardian ad litem for abused and/or neglected children in foster care. She received her BS from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. Katie is an occasional runner, having completed the NYC Marathon twice on behalf of different charity organizations (and then temporarily retiring from running for the years in between), and spends most of her free time either in search of the perfect margarita or finding new hiking trails to explore with her best friend Eddie, a 9-year old collie.
