Gay Americans are definitely second class citizens, when you have the same duties and less rights than straight people you become a second class citizen. I'm sick and tired of the Federal Government and its lack of balls to face the reality of the actual society. What's the point of living of the land of "freedom" when you can't be with the person you love? I see this is going very very slow, we are not even sure if we are heading to the main goal.

My partner is from Peru, he's a Lawyer there, and we're happy together, except I can't sponsor him to stay legally here in my own country and our situation is desperate because in his illegal condition, he's not able to find a job and I don't want to live with him in Peru, a corrupted and homophobic country """the third world""". This is my country and we want to live here like a family, because, we're a family. He's very scared that any moment ICE might arrested him and face a deportation. What can I offer him? when is gonna be possible to reunited the famlies of LGTB like me? Why the discrimination against the american gays? why we can't be like other developed countries like Canada, UK, Israel, Spain, etc. When is gonna STOP the INTOLERANCE of our politician.
