Christmas Day, 1991

Rob and David met 22 years ago, while volunteering at a soup kitchen on Christmas day. After dinner was over, the couple had their first impromptu date at a 24-hour diner.

That day of volunteering turned into a life-long relationship. Like so many gay couples, Rob and David searched for years for a solution for their immigration problems. Last month, after over two decades together, they got their green card. They also made a donation because they want to pay it forward and help other LGBT couples and families.

Won’t you join them? Please make a tax-deductible donation today to stand with LGBT families and asylum seekers this holiday season.

“We know how lucky we are,” Rob says. “And that’s why we want to help other LGBT people to live their American dreams.”

With your help, we are pressing the government to make sure all our families can safely apply for green cards. And we’re saving the lives of LGBT asylum seekers every day.
