This Sunday: March with Us at “St. Pat’s For All”

Immigration Equality invites our New York-area supporters to join us this Sunday – March 3rd – as part of our “St. Pat’s for All” parade contingent.

The St. Pat’s for All parade celebrates the diversity of the Irish and Irish American communities of New York. First held in 2000, St.Pat’s for All cherishes and celebrates an inclusive St. Patrick’s season. It is the first in the 260 years + of Irish parades in New York City to be open and welcoming to all who wish to share in the spirit of the day. The event’s theme – “cherishing all the children of the nation equally” – is taken from the 1916 Easter Proclamation of the Irish Republic. It is a vision drawn from our past and a guide for our present & future.

Join fellow Immigration Equality families this Sunday as we march together in support of fair and inclusive immigration laws.

Marchers will assemble at 12:30pm at 47th Street & Skillman Avenue in Sunnyside. The parade kick-off is at 2pm.

To join us, RSVP on our Facebook event page. Then, show up at 12:30 and look for the red and white “LGBT Families for Immigration Reform” signs!

We look forward to seeing you this Sunday!
