I hope you will join me next Thursday, November 1st, for a very special evening in Washington, D.C. I’ll be joining Immigration Equality and Reel Affirmations for a one-night-only screening of my new film, I Do, in the nation’s capital.

I’m especially excited to invite Immigration Equality supporters to a pre-screening wine reception, at the organization’s Washington offices, from 5-7pm. I’ll be on hand to talk about the film and answer your questions about I Do. Then, we’ll head over to the 9pm screening at the Carnegie Institute, just a few blocks away. Following the film’s premiere, there will be a Q&A session moderated by Steve Ralls, Immigration Equality’s communications director.

First, RSVP for the Immigration Equality reception here.

Then, log onto the Reel Affirmations website and purchase your tickets for I Do.

I am so excited to show I Do in Washington. As our country prepares for a critically important election, I hope I Do will help educate the public about the lives of LGBT binational couples and the discrimination they face under federal immigration laws. The film has been my passion for many years, and I am honored to finally share it with you.

I hope to see you in Washington on November 1st.
